Music is not God,
But music is a path to God.
The ancient hymns with their archaic language
Speak what humans of every age long to articulate.
Composers express that which we know
But for which we have no words.
Like the infant’s cry, filled with raw emotion,
Music spews forth from deep within,
Leading the way to a higher plane
Upon which the Creator waits.
